Fw: Prevent races with many candidates snaking to the next column

GEMS 1-18-4-1       BSNT 4-1-3          Rev 4

The first race has three candidates and the second has 11 candidates.  The second race scrolls, six candidates in the first column and five in the second.
A work around is to tie the second race to a "Next Col Same Side" Header.
Change the @precinct header Link to Race IDs to 0/0 to get the scrolling effect.
This may not be a concern with the Rev 6 TS, but there are some accounts out there that own Rev 4s

Greg,

The system should be placing a race in a single column if it will fit. Only if the race will not fit in one column will we let it scroll between two columns.  If you have a database that is not doing this please sent it to bugtrack.

BS 4-1-3
A method to have a long race start on the next column in order to have the whole race in one column.
If the race has too many candidates to fit on one column some of the candidates snake to the next column.  Solution is to have the race take up two columns via Options in Race Editor but then that screws up the OS ballot.
Like to see long races start on next column with even distribution of candidates if longer than one column.
