Log Printer for El Paso ( your wish is my command)

This is just to remind you that for the upcoming El Paso Elections, Texas certification requires a log printer as to “all” transactions that occur at the central count station are printed in “real time” on an attached log printer.

We did this with the old Paul Dunhill software by attaching a serial port printer to on of the COM ports without giving up the standard parallel printer port for normal reports.

He (Paul) had use insert a line of code and each point the code did a save file, open file, modify file, erase file, etc., and this was then printed out to the log printer.

I do not think they expect to see every detail transaction recorded, this is just to keep an audit trail of how did what when type of a deal. Just to make sure that no one has made any changes to corrupt the elections or ballots.
