RE: JResult Client Modification

Agreed.  Based on other program development costs that they have incurred, I think Hamilton County was expecting something in the 1k to 3k range.

Hamilton County would not approve a $20,000 program enhancement, but would probably approve a $2,000 to $2,500 charge.  If we advertise the enhancement or module (enhancements if applicable to all users are normally not charged for) is available I would doubt that we would not have several counties desiring such for a charge of $2,000 to $2,500.  Several counties have asked for the information to be displayed, but no one has taken the inquiry seriously until Hamilton County'd request of Cathi.

I feel it is in our best interest to notify them of an estimated charge.  This payment for a programming change is such a novel idea, maybe we could see more of this.

I have talked to Tab about this at length, since indeed this is without a lot of precedence.  We estimate this feature to cost in the neighbourhood of $20k.  It will take roughly two weeks to implement.  The election date is Aug 3, so we'd need to get a contract in place in short order to have it done in time for testing and deployment.

I know there are other accounts that would want this feature, or something similar;  it would be worth seeing if the cost might be shared with other accounts.  We don't really have a sales mechanism in place for that to happen right now, but as you say this is fairly novel.
