To have the
reports only on the GEMS backend summary does not solve the problem -
the write-in totals must be on the
TouchScreen tape.
Following
the totals, there must be a detailed report for each ballot that contains a
write-in. Ballot number, office
title, and write-in names must be on the printout from each individual
unit.
The gist here is that the poll workers need to be able
to tell if a voter has voted for the same write-in twice on the same
ballot.
This is complete. It will be in 3.13.7 when its
released, and I can provide a 3.13.1.6 for testing on request. Below is a
sample. Note that a voter tried to pull a fast one with candidate
CCCC.
