AVTS 3.13.7 now has
a new keyboard that includes numeric digits as keys, and also now supports mixed
case text. This should be enough for LHS to get through their cert.
I suggest using a two or even one column ballot for the cert demo, since that
will avoid the issue of really long write-in text getting crammed into the
candidate area.
The new keyboard has
two downsides compared to the old one. First, the "space" key is now the
same size as all the other keys. Second, the TSText customization of the
words "back" and "space" is broken. The former is sub-optimal, but hardly
a showstopper. The latter we can fix if need be, but my hope is that we'll
have migrated to the rewrite by the time it becomes an issue. Submit a
bugtrack if it becomes an issue sooner rather than later.
