The rest of your request will require a GEMS database change and so will be considered the for 1.18 or later.  We are also thinking that the default numbers should be in the region settings to support regional uploads.

To add to this request, could we combine the server IP, PPP user name, and PPP password with the UL phone # as regional settings with possibly a VC override?  For those who don't know, PPP is a protocol used to connect to the Internet and other networks via phone lines and is our future direction for transmitting results.  This would allow each different region to use a different ISP or GEMS host to connect to and/or upload to.

And could someone tell me what the Server Timeout value is for?

Sent an rcr a month ago requesting a UL Phone# field to be included in the Accu-Vote Options.  Ninety-five percent or more voting locations would use the same number (in most cases) and the balance could be modified in the Vote Centre Properties. I did not get a response so I don't know if it was received, or am I still in purgatory?

Downloading a series of Memory Cards, entering the phone number and then reloading to make the phone number change appears to be doing the job twice. As an alternative, is it possible to enter the host computer phone number in the Accu-Vote Options under setup and then the Accu-Vote Settings tab.  This could then be a field in each Vote Centre for further changes, i.e. adding a 9 or a long distance number or whatever. This would improve the accuracy of entering phone numbers for each Memory Card and cut the Memory Card handling in half.
