RE: Shipping Damage



We have a design for a hard sided case with a retractable handle and wheels.
Our problem has been trying to keep a prototype unit in house for a two week
period in order to perform drop tests.  As I informed Steve preciously, we
now have units in house and are scheduling drop testing for next week.

If the case passes the test, there will be a lead time for producing
multiples of this case.  We are unsure as to current lead times due to our
original quote being outdated.  More on that later as it happens.

I have been using a pelican case that we used to ship the black wedge ballot
stations in a few years back and it seems to be working well.  I wounder how
many of these cases are still on a shelve somewhere in McKinney.  At any
rate, how much would a pellical case cost?  $75, $95?  Check it out.

I have been asking for over 7 months for correct packing materials and
casing from Don V.  for the R5s.  I've spoken to you about it as well Ian.
The packaging for the AccuFeed units has been inadequate for years.  What
happened to the plans for new cases for the R5?
