Re: Result Server Extensions

I think my question is as follows:  Are we recommending that customers put our GEMS system on a network or not?  I thought we were not allowing this.  If it's ok then alot of stuff like this becomes easier.

You can copy the files on a floppy disk if a machine is not linked to a network.

Dumb question.  If GEMS is not linked to network, how do we "push" html or java out to another computer??  Interested but confused.

  • Can we have an option in GEMS to save the Result Files in another location instead of default Results folder.

We could then have GEMS push information out other machines, say web server, instead of having them call into gems to retrieve the Results.

This is complete and will be availabel in the next GEMS's release
