Will all future 1.14x versions be compatible with 1.14.5 if we burn mem cards in San Luis Obispo now?

Bugs in download notwithstanding, yes. This is always the case, even for 1.15 or 1.99.

I would not count on 1.14 being quite bug-free yet however. Jane called me with a potential 1.14 problem with shadow races and rotation. She will post a bugtrack report shortly.
