Also should mention you need a way to restore the backup, and it is not clear how that should work either.

No, but its comming.  It is not trivial, since you need a way to delete the backup folder, and there is not yet complete agreement on how that should work.  Stay tuned.

Have any of the newest versions of the AVTS software brought back the feature to backup the results into a Date & Time stamped folder in the case of when a poll worker clears the totals during the election process????
