Votecenter 9000 (Absentee) downloads fine here with the card pct ids checked.  If you are downloading the empty absentee default vote center, then yes, you are going to get an out of sync.

with use card pct ids and cum results checked we get "msg out of sync" error on download

if you uncheck cum results only and check use card pct ids we loose our cum reportunits

any other ideas?

this problem needs to be solved - as Adams is sending out Absentees this week -  has anyone come up with anything ?  

Check "use card pct ids" for the absentee countergroup, or use 1.94s (or newer) firmware.
