Pima County, AZ has noticed that central count doesn’t stop when a ballot with a write-in vote is put through.  Has anyone else noticed this behavior?  Pima is running 1.11.2, but it could be happening in other releases.

Mea culpa on this.  Pima is the only account that wants to stop on write-ins that I am aware of.  A better proceedure is to pre-sort the write-ins as the envelopes are opened.  Central count performs very badly when it starts and stops -- the feeder was designed to stream.  That said, Pima would prefer to start and stop, or at least that was the case a couple of years back.  I made a special release for them back then, but it needs to be an AV setup option.

If I can add the option cleanly in 1.11, I will, otherwise it will have to be in the next 1.16.  Rattle my chain on Friday if you don't see anything by then.
