They are very convenient!  Tari showed me how to rig some up.  Very easy process if you have extra tele jacks.

Ian, can you rig up cross-wired dummy phone jacks that simulate a line-busy signal for modem testing purposes?  Using such jacks will save the inconvenience of testing cascade modems connected to off-hook handsets, especially in larger counties.
