Re: Software Install for California & Vibs

Installpack suppose to create "Windows NT Media" folder under "Program Files" directory and extract the necessary files into that directory. I did not test it on Windows 98 machine, but i
do not think this is a problem. I'll run some test and follow up on support list.

I did run the Install Shield program, but it did not appear.  However, the AVTS unit that I am installing the 3.13.5.2 on is only Windows 98, maybe that is the problem.

When you run the Install Shield it will appear.

I have downloaded both the AVTSIS & AVTS 3.13.5.2, and neither package has a WINNT Media folder.

Steve,

The "WinNT Media" folder is part of the install package for at least 3.13.5.2 which is the latest and greatest.  Whether or not we use this folder depends on the operating system on the machine.  The installation of the language packs depends on what languages will be supported.  The installation of the California sound files will depend on the database being used.

Kerry,

Are these part of the standard install now for a VIBS unit?

Jeff,

I have a copy of the language packs and the VIBS files that were used for LA.  If you are need executables that allow VIBS to work on Windows NT, they are downloaded into a folder labled "WinNT Media" when you run the later install shields.  The folder is found on the C drive under Program Files.  If you need any of these files let me know.

Do we have a current AVTS install that includes the language packs for California, and also the drivers for Vibs???  I know that when we did install all of the software for California accounts, we had to download the language packs & drivers for Vibs, and install those seperately.  Is there any way that we can incorporate all of this into one AVTS install???  If not, who has all of these language packs and drivers???
