Could be the battery could be windows 98...If your worried about it, change the battery, then update win98 to the latest patches.

My home/office COMPAQ 133Mhz computer is losing about a 1/2 hour every few days on the time.  Can the battery be going bad "slowly" and this is a precursor to it "losing" bios settings, etc. like the R4 units? Can I just ignore this or am I being warned?
