The upshot of these
dozen mails is that right now in GEMS you can't get separate counter group
columns and also have cumulative report precincts. It is, of
course, a perfectly reasonable thing to want to do however.
A quick-fix might be
to allow cumulative report precincts to be deleted outright from vote center
categories. That would give you the countergroup columns without the
questionable number of precincts reporting. Jeff, when you wake up, if
this is what you want, let us know and we'll make it so. If you can
get away with Tari's database, so much the better.
