California Project Managers,
The Secretary of State of California election night export
"creation" files are available on the SOS ftp sites. The County's need to
log on and retrieve the .txt files to map the GEMS races/candidates with the SOS
races/candidates as step 1. This should be done pretty soon. If you
are not familar with this process and need to be assisting a new site, you may
want to have them download the .txt file and give you a database sample so you
can check out the mapping process.
