Re: WinCE 3.00 June 7th Release

Was there a prior CE 3.x release?  Or are you talking about the first 3.0 release.  Incidentally, the battery light indicator worked well for me during my demo in Fresno.  I looked down and saw a red indicator with a 70% reading and found indeed there was no power in the wall I was using.  Worked nicely!  Thanks to soft. dev.

If you have an earlier version of bootloader on your R6 unit to upgrade (which is the norm), you will have to separate the two new files onto individual PCMCIA Flash memory cards.  They will have to be installed separately.  This is based on the experience of Jeff Hallmark, Kerry Martin, Rob McDonald, and myself.

Once you have this new version of bootloader on your R6 unit, in the future, you will then be able to upgrade these files to later versions more conveniently by having both files on the same PCMCIA Flash memory card.

The new WinCE 3.00 and bootloader are on the ftp site.  The file is WCE300-020607.zip and the password is "idns84jdb712f".

Note: Coy the fboot.nb0 and nk.bin files to a pcmcia card and install in the bottom slot of the AVTS unit and the turn the system on. You do not need the epboot.nb0 file.
