The TS unit doesn’t have a HD it is flash memory. As I understand it the ballot is committed to flash once the cast ballot button is depressed. If for instant the system stops in the middle of voting a ballot and the vote was not cast, it will not write anything. This is true (again as I understand it) that the voter card is not erased until the ballot is also cast. But, again, I could be wrong!!!
