You are talking apples and oranges now - I can and do download to TS from my laptop - I thought we we talking Central Count

We had a test Windows 2000 workstation set up on a separate little network, and had an AVTS unit attached and were not able to download election media PCMCIA cards.  Have not experimented with the AVOS, but will probably just go ahead and set up NT since if 2000 doesn't work we would have to reset to NT anyway.

I would think it would work but if he has tested it - that mey be where he is coming from

I did see in a message to support from Jason Wong on July 25, 2002 that
 
"As far as I am aware, however, current released versions of central count however are not able to connect through RAS on a Windows 2000 environment but should connect in a Windows NT environment." 
 
Does this statement apply to this situation?

Does anyone know if we can run GEMS 1.17.22 on the Windows 2000 platform instead of the Windows NT platform?  We would only be using it for an addendum election and receiving data from one AVOS running cc2.00g.  I need to know now.  Thanks.  Lesley
