Re: AVTS modem upload BS 4.3.11

I have tracked down the problem with RAS (modem) connections on Windows NT.

As Rob determined from testing the issues is with 'Software Compression'.
This bug is fixed in SP6 but due to the way service packs are installed the
service pack must be installed AFTER then software it is fixing is
installed. Therefore when RAS is installed on Windows NT SP6 must be
re-installed to fix this problem.

I have tested this on a machine here. What I did was:

1) Install Windows NT
2) Install SP6a
3) Install RAS
4) Tried to connect from the AVTS to the WinNT machine.
5) Tried to ping the AVTS and failed.
6) Re-installed SP6a
7) Connected AVTS to WinNT
8) Tried to ping the AVTS unit and succeeded.
9) Uploaded from the AVTS unit to GEMS and succeeded.

Hope this helps.
