w3m screenshots


w3m is a text only browser that can handle frames and tables, supports international characters and displays sites really nicely. it's great!

The official site doesn't have any screenshots available, so I grabbed a few for those that are curious to see what it looks like. These pics are out of the box; I just went to a few sites and took a few screenshots. I also took some with lynx so you can see how they compare.

note: it's been pointed out to me that these screenshots are biased because I've used the non-colour version of lynx. sorry about this, but my main point is how the browsers render the page being viewed. check them out for yourself.

I made the xterms fairly large because that's how Netscape is on my machine normally (actually, the xterms are a lot smaller than an average Netscape window).
