RE: GEMS - Not able to print artwork on a networked printer



Here is the message that I received.  I only received it in GEMS 1.17.2, and only on 1 computer.  When I use 1.17.11 on the computer that gets this error, it works fine.

I am not sure if this is a bug that has to do with GEMS, or with Networking, or both.  Bill Bowers from GBS has a couple of GEMS users that have their GEMS computer networked with the rest of their system, along with network printers; one system is Novell and the other is MS-NT.  If they log into their network as a User not an Administrator, they cannot print out Artwork on their Network Printer.  However, they can print out Reports in Gems, and print out of other software programs.  If they login as an Administrator, then they can print out Artwork on the Network Printer.
 
I just tried it here in Omaha.  I logged in as a User that I have defined on a Windows NT machine that is Networked.  When I go to print out any Pre Election Report or any other reports, they print fine.  When I try to print out Artwork, I get Internal Error.
