RE: Pennsylvania cross-endorse certification Vote for 3

Not for optical scan, but for the way that PA wants to have the Straight Party option work on the TS.

Subject: Pennsylvania cross-endorse certification Vote for 3

BS 4.1.7.1   GEMS 1.18.8.1       W2K

Choosing Straight Party will correctly vote 3 in the first race, 2 in the second race and 1 in the third race.

Not choosing Straight Party will only allow 1 vote in each race even though set for 3, 2 and 1 in Race Editor.

Passcode is xxx

This situation is true if the PA Straight Party flag is set in the Accu-Vote TS Options.

Removing the flag allows normal voting to occur, i.e., the voter can choose three candidates in a vote for three race, etc.

Straight Party voting works correctly as well.

Jeff Hintz says this flag must be set for optical scan.
