Re: Digi cable

The system is configured and the proper cable installed.  No need to send another cable.  My email was just a comment on the fact that we should be sending a longer cable.

Did Don install the last cable I sent him, or would you like another.

Interesting.  I'm guessing the correct cable that was supposed to ship with the digi product did not ship, and you received the stack cable which is 6" long.

The length of that cable is predetermined by Digi Products Inc.  I can't help you there.  Digi doesn't offer anything longer.

If you want, you can contact Digi and make a suggestion to their support line.  Good Luck.

Subject: Digi cable

In a recent install in Columbia County, Florida, I noticed that the Digi cable delivered that connects the host to the DigiPort was fairly short (appr. 6").  This length is impractical, and should be kept to at least several feet.
