reinstalled AVTSIS-3-13-9-2
Disregard the reference to "reinstalled
AVTSIS-3-13-9-2". I mentioned this as a term of reference only, that I had
made the attempt to rectify with this procedure, in case anybody asked whether I
had tried this or not.
I just received two of the R4s from McKinney with 4.0.7 and
upgraded to 4.1.0.2 (BallotStation). The CBallotDlg appeared.
Installed 4.1.0.1 with no problem.
I have not discovered the difference between the desktop, and
the laptop and the three R4s. Election tomorrow at 7:00 am.

Trying three R4s
will not help if all three are the same...
You say you don't
get the error on your desktop: what is different between your desktop
and the R4s.
You say you get
the same error with 3.x: this seems questionable since there is no such
error message in 3.x.

The same error detection occurred on a (three for three R4s) R4 trying to use
4.1.0.2

If you are
getting the error with 3.x as well, then there is something wrong with
your laptop OS. I could not even begin to guess
what.

The following error occurs on my laptop when using
4.1.0.2 when attempting to View Ballots. The first prompt is
Loading Ballots and then the error detection. The ballots are
Viewed when using 4.1.0.1
This error does not occur on my desk top PC.
I uninstalled Accu-Vote-TS on
my Dell Latitude laptop and reinstalled AVTSIS-3-13-9-2.
The same error detection in 4.1.0.2.
What should be done to eliminate this error. The
same error detection occurred on a R4 trying to use 4.1.0.2
