RE: Election Results recovery when both PCMCIA & AVTS unit fail

Old and not-quite-funny joke...

A mathematician is in line for the metal detector at the airport.  He reaches the front of the line, and brings out what is very obviously a bomb.  The security guards draw their guns and shout:  place the bomb on the floor and step away slowly with your hands in the air.  Several bystanders also draw their guns (you see, this joke takes place in the US).  The mathematician exclaims:  You don't understand.  I don't want to blow up the plane.  I am just bringing the bomb on board for everyone's safetyAhh, a wise-guy, says one of the guards as he is placing handcuffs on the professor.  The mathematician pleads:  look, the odds of anyone having a bomb on this plane are more than one in a million.  That risk is just too high.  But the odds of two people having a bomb, well that is more than one in 1,000,000,000,000.  It could never happen!

Subject: Election Results recovery when both PCMCIA & AVTS unit fail

If by some chance, both the PCMCIA card is damaged or fails and the AVTS is damaged or fails.  What would be the procedure to get the results from that PCMCIA card or AVTS unit???

This was a question that Johnson County, KS wanted an answer to.

Thanks,
