Re: Pennsylvania cross-endorse certification Vote for 3

If cross-endorse is set in the Candidate Tab of the Race Editor for the appropriate candidates, how does GEMS know whether it is New York or Pennsylvania other than with the flag in AVTS options?

If the flag is set, then the voter cannot choose three candidates independently in a vote for three (or two) race other than voting straight party.

Removing the flag allows normal voting to occur, i.e., the voter can choose three candidates in a vote for three race, etc.
Straight Party voting works correctly as well.

Correct is in the eye of the beholder.
Jeff Hintz says this flag must be set for optical scan.

The flag has no effect on opscan.
