I'll add a "vertical line" option to the race editor for candidates. This
will complement the "candidate line" checkbox that draws horizontal
candidate lines.
The thick candidate line option I am more hesitant about -- it starts to
tread into creeping featurism territory. We added the thick *race* line to
satisfy a written-in-blood statutory requirement somewhere (Shawnee?), but
it was against our will. Thick candidate lines will also have an effect on
the oval positioning code, so its not exactly a no-brainer to implement
either.
Lets take a look at the ballot after the vertical candidate lines are added
and see if it will fly in PR. If not and there is a lot of demand (I expect
Greg will probably like the think candidate lines) we can revisit this
again.
