RE: AVTS - No Instruction Page

Our new agent in Canada, “Dynabec”, is requesting that the Instruction Page be removed from the AVTS software all together.  They would like to see the AVTS software go directly to the first page of the ballot after inserting their Voter Card.   Is there a possibility of putting into Gems, or maybe better into the AVTS unit registry, a switch of some sort to be able to skip the Instruction Page.

This kind drawing options are (often) not difficult, but they require a major version number bump for GEMS and TS.  The GEMS database, TS database, and download protocol all change to store and transfer the new options.   

 

We renew our call for whatever other drawing options people would like to see in the AccuVote-TS. 

1.16 just went out, and 1.17 certainly won't be out May 1.   Color, right vote box justification, and vote box size all made it into 1.16 as requested.  I guess we'll have to re-release 1.16, since its only been out for 20 minutes.
